The Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations [CECAFA] has lauded for the construction of the future headquarters of Somali Football Federation.
CECAFA General Secretary, Mr. Nicholas Musonye, has today written to the president of Somali Football Federation and the deputy head of CECAFA, Mr. Abdiqani Said Arab, to congratulate him on the laying down of the foundation stone of the SFF’s new headquarters.
“Dear president, I am happy to hear the good news of the new HQs. I wish you good luck in all the good work you are doing for Somalia and African Football” CECAFA General Secretary, Mr. Nicholas Musonye, said in his message to the Somali Football Federation president Abdiqani Said Arab, on Sunday.
The construction of the new SFF base is being funded under the FIFA Forward project. The Centre will be available for use by 2018 and it will be the first time in history that Somali Football Federation officials will be serving in a building not rented, but owned by the federation.
