Somali Football Federation Appoints New Head of Digital Media

The Somali Football Federation (SFF) has officially announced the appointment of Abdulkadir Muse Osman as the Head of Digital Media of the federation. This position is part of efforts to strengthen the federation’s media capacity, enhance the quality of public services and develop sports communication in the country.

The appointment was made directly by the SFF Secretary General, Dr. Yusuf Mohudin Ahmed, and was based on a real need for a media leader who can keep pace with modern standards and the digital growth that is taking place in the world.

Abdulkadir Muse Osman’s Background and Experience

Abdulkadir Muse Osman is a senior media expert, particularly in the digital media sector, and has over 15 years of experience working in various media organizations in the country. During his tenure, he became particularly known for his efforts to develop visual and photographic content related to sports, especially football.

During his time in the media, Abdulkadir played a major role in modernising, professionalizing, and improving the way information related to football in Somalia is disseminated, working specifically on local television and modern online media platforms.

His appointment marks a significant change in the media landscape of the association, which will enhance the integration of Somali society and the way in which news and information about sports are conveyed domestically and internationally.

The Somali Football Association once again demonstrates its commitment to developing and improving its staff, with priority given to the knowledge, skills and experience of Somali citizens. Abdulkadir Muse Osman is expected to play a key role in taking the association to a new level in line with the global digital media landscape.
