Two-day workshop organised by the Somali Football Federation ended today….

 

 

Two-day workshop organised by the Somali Football Federation ended today and was closed by SFF President Ali Abdi Mohamed

The workshop was attended by General Secretaries & Club Licensing Managers from the clubs in Somali National League and was focused mainly on the CAF Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP), with in-depth training sessions for users of the platform from the clubs.

SFF President Ali Abdi Mohamed praised club members for their participants & highlights the importance of Club licensing for member associations.

“I would like to thank club members for their participate, as you know Club licensing is a vital component of the modern football. It establishes a set of levels that clubs must meet in areas such as infrastructure, financial management, governance, and youth development” said Ali Abdi Mohamed

He further added “Our mission is to help clubs for their development, to apply these levels, clubs can ensure they operate efficiently, transparently and sustainably”

The general objectives of the workshop are:
1. Present the CAF Club Licensing regulatory framework (edition 2022) for men’s competitions.
2. Explain the mandatory criteria for continental and domestic competitions.
3. Train users for the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP).

The Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) is to start being operational in the 2024/2025 Season.
